Stairwell Productions brought The Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 production of Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu’s acclaimed, award-winning play PASS OVER, directed by Obie Award winner Danya Taymor (“Daddy”, Heroes of the Fourth Turning) to Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre in Summer 2021, marking the first Broadway play to perform since the onset of the pandemic. Stairwell Productions/Matt Ross served as a lead producer of the Broadway-transfer of Heidi Schreck's What the Constitution Means to Me, and of its subsequent national tour and live-capture film, now available on Amazon Prime Video. A Tony nominee for Best Play and a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize, What the Constitution Means to Me was twice-extended on Broadway, breaking a box office record and becoming profitable along the way.
Stairwell Productions brought two groundbreaking plays - Lucas Hnath's Dana H. and Tina Satter's Is This A Room - to Broadway in Fall 2021 in an innovative model in which both plays occupied the Lyceum Theatre on a rotating schedule.
